Research Kits

A Research Kit is ten lyophilized vials of a single compound, supplied at wholesale pricing directly from our warehouse. This is a direct wholesale-to-researcher option: the saving comes from removing retail handling from the chain — no individual labeling, no repackaging, no retail markup.

Kits suit researchers running extended protocols who need volume of one compound. If you want a single vial to trial a compound, order from the standard catalog instead — single-vial orders are normally prepared within 24–48 hours.

Kit vials arrive unlabeled; the batch identifier is on the kit's outer packaging. Keep the vials with their original packaging and corresponding documentation.

Keep the kit and its records together.Cap color alone does not establish a vial's identity or batch.

Review the identifiers and available records before handling the material:

• Certificate of analysis. Match the batch identifier on the kit box to the corresponding report. Check the material, laboratory, methods and results actually listed on our certificates page.
• Cap color. Do not rely on cap color alone to identify material or establish a batch match. Keep unlabeled vials with their original batch-identified packaging.

If an identifier is missing, inconsistent or cannot be matched confidently to the supplied material, keep the material separate and contact support before use.

Lyophilized compound is freeze-dried into a solid puck at the base of the vial, and that puck is brittle. Vials travel by road and air in a carton that moves, so pucks routinely arrive cracked, partly collapsed, or reduced to loose powder.

A fragmented puck is not grounds for a replacement or refund. If a vial arrives with cracked glass, a dislodged stopper, or a broken seal, that is carrier damage — photograph it, retain the packaging, and email jake@syntyraresearch.com within 48 hours of delivery.

Kits are fulfilled through a separate wholesale channel rather than from retail stock, so the timeline is longer than a single-vial order. Plan for this before you order.

• Warehouse processing: up to 3 business days. Your kit is picked, assembled, and checked at the warehouse before it enters the carrier network.
• Tracking is issued once the kit ships — not when the order is placed. It is emailed to the address on your order.
• Kits ship separately. If your order also contains single vials, the kit travels under its own tracking number and may arrive at a different time.

If you have not received tracking after 3 business days, email us with your order number and we will chase it.

Kits cannot be returned, exchanged, refunded, or cancelled once the order is submitted to the warehouse. Once material leaves our controlled environment we cannot verify how it was stored — temperature, humidity, light, and handling all affect the stability of lyophilized compounds. A returned kit cannot be re-qualified against its certificate of analysis, and we will not put material of unverifiable provenance back into circulation for other researchers.

Unlabeled vials, fragmented pucks, and extended processing times are disclosed before purchase on this page and at checkout, and are not grounds for a dispute. The two narrow exceptions that apply to every Syntyra order — a certificate mismatch confirmed by third-party assay, and carrier-confirmed loss or physical transit damage — are set out in full under Research kits and Returns, refunds & exchanges.
